Lavender U-Pick & Paint a handmade mug with Julia from TATA Ceramics
Location: Island Lavender Distillery (44 Appletree Lane, Bonshaw)
When: Two dates available: Saturday, July 4th, 2026, and Saturday, August 1st, 2026.
Cost per Person: $90- includes:
- one bisqued TATA Ceramics mug to paint & keep
- glazes and all supplies
- glaze firing after the workshop
- lavender bundle
- light snack (baked goods from Mary's Bakery in Cornwall) & lavender lemonade
Mugs will be made food safe, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Once fired, the items can be picked up locally or shipped Canada wide with UPS for $15
Additional items for painting are available for an additional cost.

Beginner Art Sketching Workshop with local artist
Join local PEI artist Denise Livingstone for a relaxing outdoor sketching workshop at the lavender farm. This beginner-friendly class is designed to help you build confidence, loosen up your creativity, and see the world through an artist's eyes.
We'll begin under the tent with a series of fun, simple drawing exercises designed to quiet your inner critic and strengthen your observation skills. You'll learn techniques such as how to hold your pencil for expressive sketching, along with exercises that encourage a more intuitive approach to drawing.
From there, we'll sketch the beautiful scenery around us, using the farm as our inspiration. If time allows, we'll take a short stroll through the property to discover new perspectives and continue sketching outdoors.
Whether you've never picked up a sketchbook before or you're looking to refresh your skills, this workshop offers practical techniques that can improve your drawing at any level.
Included: all supplies, lavender lemonade, and a light snack.

make your own lavender floral wreath
After a tour of the lavender farm, you will get to harvest your own bundles of fresh lavender to create a beautiful lavender wreath. Guidance & supplies included! The wreath will dry beautifully and last for years.
Workshop includes homemade lavender lemonade and U-Pick lavender. Take time after the workshop to tour the fields and visit our Gift Shop.
All wreath-making supplies included (including lavender). No experience necessary!

Perfumery Class & Lavender Farm Tour
"Stop and smell the roses"
During a tour of the lavender farm, we will stop to smell the flowers, and learn about the unique therapeutic benefits of their essential oils. Choose your own 100% pure essential oils to create a unique perfume blend to take home.
Essential oils have many therapeutic properties, create a custom perfume blend. Examples include a blend to help relax and de-stress with Lavender, Chamomile, Rose, and Jasmine. Or a blend to help energize, including Lemon, Peppermint, Sweet Orange, and Rosemary. You could also create a therapeutic blend to help with joint pain and sore muscles including Eucalyptus, Lavender, Frankincense, and Basil. The options are endless! The choice is yours!
